I wrote my first novel with a coauthor before I was fifteen. (It has never been published.) My first short story was published when I was sixteen and a junior in high school. I received my degree in creative writing from Western Michigan University. While attending WMU, I was awarded the undergraduate fiction award for "Skinship," a short story based on my study abroad experience in Japan. That same story went on to win Editor's Choice for creative nonfiction by the editors of GlassFire Magazine and was included in the GlassFire Anthology.
One of my short-shorts, "Spider Crawling," was published in the debut issue of Mad Rush. "The Waiting Future" was included in the steampunk erotica anthology Valves & Vixens, and another story is in Valves & Vixens Volume Two entitled "Night Flight." Short story "Heaven Ain't Close" is found in Cosmic Encounters: Erotic Science Fiction Stories.
I currently write and edit for the Crazy Wisdom Community Journal while pursuing my own projects. I am a regular author at Motor City Steam Con.

Finalizing the steampunk fairytales book, which has a title: "The Queen of Clocks and Other Steampunk Tales." My husband just launched the podcast we co-host Cinema Guano, so look for that on its own blog or your favorite podcast source. As always, look for my columns in the Crazy Wisdom Community Journal, articles in Pulp, and, if you love books as much as I do, consider signing up for the Ann Arbor Book Society's monthly newsletter for which I also write.
